HOW WE STARTED:

Movers & Shakers started with an idea we had while attending a wedding in 2014.

We were in line for a drink and we noticed that the event had one bar, with an inexperienced server trying to manage the bar by themselves. As professional bartenders we wanted to jump back there and help him out — and that sparked an idea: 

What if there was a catering company solely dedicated to providing exceptional bar service?

We realized that we had the knowledge and expertise to give guests a better time, and provide a service that would become very popular in New Orleans.

WE ARE GROWING:

Since our early days we have expanded!

When we started out, we were doing 1-2 small weddings a month, now we do 2-3 events a week!

Our business can handle any size wedding, second-line, or corporate event. We have the crew and experience to elevate your party with signature cocktails, mocktails, craft beer, and wine.

We also have the Giddy Up, a converted Horse Trailer, and many other bars to rent
